Los Charcones

As an island, Lanzarote is surrounded by wild beaches, practically virgin and with little waves. In some of them the water is so calm that they even look like natural pools. The breakwaters and the solidified lava on part of its coast have also caused the formation of pools and puddles on the shores of the sea where you can soak and forget about time.

Playa del Janubio

We will observe from the viewpoint of Las Salinas de Janubio.
These salt flats are the largest in the Canary Islands and are of high architectural and cultural value.
Today they continue to produce the white gold they called it, salt, which was essential in the island's economy until not many decades ago. They are located in a lagoon created by volcanic eruptions that originated a barrier of lava facing the sea where the black beach of salt flats, sand and small black rocks that contrast with the white foam with which the sea was also created by nature caress its shore.

La Geria

On our end of the excursion we will pass through the area of wines with the most merit in the Canary Islands.
La Geria, unique in the world created by the ingenuity of peasants in a subsistence situation
After the great eruption, the area was covered with lava, leaving the "picón" over the entire earth. Taking advantage of the properties of this eruptive material, which retains atmospheric humidity and prevents evaporation. The peasants dug holes of up to 2.5 m until they found fertile land and planted a vine strain in each of them, and in turn erected a semi-stone fence on the upper edge of each hole to prevent the wind, setting up a strange and beautiful landscape, one of the most characteristic of Lanzarote, and the best area of the island in the production of its famous volcanic malvasia wines.
We will stop at Bodega la Geria to taste these wines, where they can also buy a bottle if they wish. The photos in this place will be spectacular, bring your mobile. 30 minutes
