Location. The Villas Salinas de Matagorda are located on the southern coast of Lanzarote in the busy resort of Puerto del Carmen, Spain, within 100 metres of the beach and 150 metres from the main shopping centre. The city of Arrecife is 15 kilometres from the villas and Lanzarote Arrecife Airport is five kilometres away. Hotel Features. The property consists of six two-bedroom villas of a modern Mediterranean design with whitewashed stucco walls.
Numerous restaurants and bars in Puerto del Carmen offer a variety of Spanish and international dining. Many have live music and flamenco dancing. For self-catering purposes, the nearest supermarket is within 200 metres.
A wide range of leisure activities can be arranged along the beachfront, including boating, fishing, scuba diving and water skiing.
Guestrooms. The two-storey Villas Salinas de Matagorda have modern decor with bright rooms and dark wood furniture. All villas have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. Kitchens are equipped with a ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine and dishwasher. The combined dining and living area has access to the terrace and is furnished with two sofas, satellite television and DVD player and dining table. Outdoor amenities include a garden, barbecue, private parking and a swimming pool.
Expert Tip. Jameos del Agua is home to a population of albino crabs and has a concert theatre located in an underground volcanic cavern. A buffet dinner is served three nights a week.
