Start your experience with a pickup from Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca, Puerto Calero or Arrecife meeting points. After a safety briefing and orientation session to learn how to drive your buggy, jump aboard and head off-road with your small group, with an expert guide leading the way.
Your tour is offered with a choice of three durations, all starting from the buggy rental shop in Costa Teguise. On booking, choose from a 1-hour tour to the fishing village of Arrieta, a 3-hour tour to the town of Cocoteros, or a 5-hour tour to Playa Famara on Lanzarotes west coast. Each option features a different route and tackles a variety of terrains.
Whatever option you choose, get ready to bump and bounce through some of the islands most dramatic countryside. Race along hidden beaches, rumble past sleepy seaside villages and roar along makeshift paths that deep into the islands volcanic interior; its an exhilarating way to explore a side of Lanzarote most visitors never see. The scenery is stunning and the design of your buggy provides fabulous, 360-degree views as you go. Stop every now and then to stretch your legs and take pictures of your surroundings, and perhaps swap drivers if there are two of you on your buggy.
Your tour finishes with a buggy drive back to your original gathering point and a drop-off at the meeting point. Your safari is an exciting outdoor adventure, so bring a bottle of water, apply lots of sun cream and wear clothes that you dont mind getting dusty. Oh, and dont forget your camera!
